Wake Up Empowered

"What would your life be like if you could stop putting things off?

Would you move closer to your dreams… achieve more with your life and realise your biggest ambitions?"

Clive Cable

"You may have noticed how problems get worse when they are not solved immediately.

And that postponing what you need to get done makes you feel less successful.

Woman overwhelmedIf you find yourself stressed because you missed an important deadline… are forever putting off what needs to be done at home or at work… then this is going to be an eye opening few minutes for you.

Because as you read on you’ll discover how to stop procrastinating on anything you need to get done.

Some people feel lazy because they don't accomplish much. You may have heard the joke, “a to-do list is not official until it becomes an over-due list.’

Did you know the “I’ll do it later or I’ll do it tomorrow,” approach actually robs you of energy?

Not doing the important jobs leaves you feeling tired because they just nag at you constantly.

It’s as if your brain has a playback button that plays the same message over and over again.

In the next few minutes I’m going to show you how to beat procrastination.

But first here’s a fact you may not know.

Man overwhelmedYou burn more energy thinking about a problem than you do solving it.

Even though most people put things off and most people are lazy in some area in their life they never seem do anything to stop themselves procrastinating.

On top of that most people never seem to have time to get everything they want done in a day.

But is there a way to get motivated or even excited about doing the things you don't want to do?

  • Without stress
  • With anxiety
  • Without feeling without pressure

There are a number of things you can do to stop procrastinating, let's look at a few:

There's time management.

Do people actually believe time can be "managed?" No one has ever found a way. But some time management courses can be effective…

In the short-term.

Here’s why…

They put pressure on you by imposing false deadlines. Yes okay you get more done this way.

But it's like a weight loss diet. You lose a few pounds at first but then you go back to your old ways and end up eating more. So what else can you do?

You could try the "habit changing technique."

Here's where you practice a new habit for 21 days. After that the habit is supposed to become permanent.

Have you ever tried this?

It takes willpower to stop doing something.

The cold turkey approach rarely works. To change a habit like this you really need to be replacing it with another habit.

For example, if you want to give up smoking take up a hobby instead. But it’s hard to make this work because you're addicted to one behaviour because you enjoy it.

All change comes from within.

You internalise change after experiencing a powerful outside stimulus.

Here's an example:

A man in his 40s goes to the doctor because he is experiencing chest pains. The doctor has an x-ray done that shows a shadow on one of his lungs.

He says it's the early warning signs of cancer. If you carry on smoking you’ll die within the next 2 to 5 years.

If you give up now your chances of living a normal healthy life well into old age is around 95%.

So the man instantly gives up smoking.

A powerful outside stimulus causes an instant internal change.

These are known as significant emotional events.

Can you create them for yourself?

You can if you’re a skilled hypnotist.

It’s true to say we all ‘hypnotise’ ourselves each day.

We have about 60,000 thoughts a day and these create and support the life we live.

And that’s a truth that’s been talked about for years.

The highly acclaimed films, ‘The Secret’ and ‘What the Bleep Do We Know’ explain this in great detail.

But to change these thoughts can be very hard, unless as I said, you’re a skilled hypnotist.

Even then it’s difficult because you’re aware of what’s behind the words you’re using to hypnotise yourself into changing a lifelong habit.

In other words it’s like an advert you’ve already seen so you know what’s coming next and you don’t pay much attention to it.

But if you could get a skilled hypnotist to work with you then change can happen fast.

But skilled hypnotists who help people overcome procrastination are rare.

So, what then is the answer?

A couple of years ago we asked leading hypnosis and self-development expert Clive Cable to do a recording for us about having more confidence.

He created one called, ‘Completely Confident.’

We offered it to our customers and we had a great response.

Woman Overcoming ProcrastinationEveryone who bought the recording loved it.

Because Clive used a combination of hypnotic language patterns and brainwave entrainment music that has been successful in ALL of his other recordings.

Now, he's created a new recording about overcoming procrastination.

This recording will help you get more done in a day than you've ever done before.

So if you’ve had enough of putting things off, the stress it causes in your life, and the frustration of not getting things done on time, then try Clive’s ‘Overcoming Procrastination’ recording.

It only takes thirty minutes. Just listen to it two or three times a week for a month. And start looking forward to being more productive in every area of your life.

Enjoy achieving more than you’ve ever done before.
Relish knowing that you can get more done in less time.
